Resting and Game Night

Saturday was a nice quiet day. During Daniel's short afternoon nap, Megan and Joshua and I hung out in the hammock and continued reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. Megan fell asleep during part of our chapter, so Joshua and I stayed awake and chatted for a while. Then the big kids ran through the sprinkler, while Daniel stayed inside. He isn't crazy about the sprinkler at all.

Megan must have been giving some sort of song performance (Grandpa took these pictures today.) She periodically breaks out in song all the time.
For game night, we played Caribou, Trouble and CandyLand. It was definately entertaining.

You make childhood look like a fairytale! Hammocks? Stories? Endless running through sprinklers and dreaming up new things!?!? WOW! You are SUCH an amazing mom!!!
