So to milk this birthday thing just a little bit more, here is an adorable video of Megan and Daniel taking turns singing the birthday song to me. Joshua was busy creating things out of legos in his room.
The doorbell that rings at the end of the video was the UPS man delivering my present from Grandma. Thanks, Sandi - everything fits perfectly!
I made carrot cup cakes for the kids tonight. I combined two different recipes that I found to create my own. The kids loved them. I brought some in for my AWANA kids and they scarfed them right up. I'll try to remember to post up the recipe sometime soon.

I have a small treat for you that I meant to drop by yesterday but that wind! WOW! I hope you had a fantastic birthday. Congrats on the official word for transfer. I'll bet you are relieved. I LOVE having Heath working the night shift. He gets to see the kids during the day while they are happy and he always has the weekends off. I'm sure it will work well for your family. I wish you the very best for getting the house ready to sale. It's "fun" & a TON of work, but in the end... what a good experience, I am SO glad we bought and sold our first house here. One bit of advice... when you get ready to show it and you put all of the items that cause clutter in boxes to hide, decide right then and there if you even really need it at all. We still have a pile of boxes in our room that have to be gone through before we leave.... do we need them? Lets see, we moved in August and it is now January.... I don't think so. :) Good luck and let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Including, but not limited to, watching your little ones.
