Halloween 2014

This was the first year that I saw Seminole County Marching Band Festival and was so excited for the future to see the kids participate in this. 

This was also a good year at Brandon All-Stars, when Megan was on Team Emerald.  Her best friend was Eliana Harding and they were two peas in a pod this year.

Lilly and Pepper, Pets in 2014

Lilly was our Weiner Dog that we had for several years.  She tolerated all of us, but mostly tolerated Pepper, our cat.  Pepper, was an indoor/outdoor cat and lived a great life with us! 

This was also the first year that the family got really into fish.  Dad is a huge fish-buff and has passed that on in small doses to both Megan and Daniel. 

Daniel’s 9th Birthday

I happened upon this super fun indoor play place and took the kids for Daniel's 9th Birthday.  Unfortunately, the food was horrible, but the playing was really fun.  We were the only people there which was a little weird, but the kids had a great time. 

It was great to get the kids out climbing and jumping.  I love how much these guys love each other. After the indoor playing, it was time to check out some out-door fun at the Annunciation Fall Fest.  We live right down the street from the Annunciation church and we love going to their Fall Fest.  It's the "thing" to do for everyone on our end of town. 

Daniel's birthday was certainly fun and it's always great weather in the Florida Fall.

October 2014: A Park and Turtles

Sometimes we go out and we are the only family out at the park.  It's interesting, but I chalk it up to the fact that we are early risers and like to be out and about before it gets too hot.  We love this park in Maitland! 

Daniel loves turtles.  He's always been interested in what they have going on.  Here he is with a big one! This seems like a good spot to put a couple more pictures from Club Lake Plantation and to shout out to my beautiful new diploma from my graduate degree with a Masters in Nursing as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

Sept 2014: Family Time

This picture of us in the Patriots shirts is one that day on my office desk for a long time. 

Daniel in this practice shirt from Pop Warner Football and me on my way out the door for night shift work as a nurse in Labor and Delivery. 

I remember working all night and then taking the kiddos out for pancakes before planning to sleep most of the day. Night shift work was rough. 

Somehow the kids talked me into going to the park to get some energy out. 

After some hard playing, it was showers and chilling. Pokémon cards were a big thing for theses guys.
